This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented leader with a proven track record of improving outcomes and driving high standards in teaching and learning. You will be an excellent communicator and relationship-builder, able to inspire, motivate and empower staff while making a lasting difference to the lives of children and families.

The role is ideally suited to an experienced Deputy Headteacher or senior leader who is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. You will work alongside our experienced Headteacher and Head of Cambourne Campus, benefiting from strong professional support, collaboration and ongoing development opportunities.

At HCCPS, we believe every child deserves the very best education. Our inclusive ethos creates a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their full potential. We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and forward-thinking leader who will strengthen our leadership team and help drive our vision for excellence across the school.

The successful candidate will have strategic responsibility for Teaching and Learning across the school, while also maintaining a small teaching commitment that reflects the needs of the school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning.
  • Demonstrates inspirational leadership that motivates staff and pupils to achieve their very best.
  • Builds positive relationships and works collaboratively with colleagues, parents, governors and the wider community.
  • Is passionate about developing the whole child and ensuring pupil voice is valued and celebrated.
  • Holds high expectations and is committed to securing excellent outcomes for all learners.
  • Places children at the heart of every decision.
  • Recognises, values and celebrates the diversity of our school communities.
  • Shares and actively promotes the school's vision, values and ethos.
  • Is a creative and reflective thinker, willing to innovate and take measured risks to improve outcomes.
  • Supports and champions our creative approach to learning.
  • Can engage, challenge and earn the respect of a highly skilled and dedicated staff team.

Why join us?

This is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact within a supportive, ambitious and forward-thinking school community.

  • A highly skilled, committed and enthusiastic staff team who embrace our innovative and creative approach to learning.
