This is an excellent opportunity to join a hard-working and ambitious team, who aim to provide all students with access to outstanding creative opportunities across a range of subjects. Art is a popular option at KS4 and KS5 with 110 students currently studying GCSE and 38 studying A-Level.
The successful candidate will have a high level of technical knowledge and be able to teach at all key stages, including A-level. Our students are keen to learn and challenge themselves, with many going on to art and design related degree courses, or apprenticeships upon leaving school. You will be flexible, positive in your approach, and able to work as part of a dynamic team. You will line manage one other teacher of art and a non-teaching technician. You will be willing to participate fully in a busy and successful school.
