We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Languages.The successful candidate will be expected to outline a compelling vision for the future development of the faculty, to lead a vibrant and highly successful team that has a passionate commitment to the progress of all students. Essential, is an unwavering belief in the potential of every student. We are looking for a head of faculty who will be able to continue to develop our rich curriculum offer of French and Spanish from KS3 to KS5, and who will make a sustained impact on student progress and achievement. We are seeking to appoint a candidate who has extensive knowledge of the demands of the new curriculum and has proven and creative methods of delivering exceptional provision in languages

In March 2013, Ofsted described the school as ‘Outstanding’ in every category, including the VI Form. The school was commended for its “relentless pursuit of scholarship and excellence”. We are a successful National Teaching School. Our award winning new building is situated in the heart of East London. Professor Brian Cox OBE is one of our Patrons.

About you

  • A fully qualified teacher with evidence of QTS for secondary teaching.
  • Qualified to at least degree level in subject area and/or good A Levels or equivalent.
  • Unrelenting in your pursuit of excellence in all aspects of your practice
