- be a motivational leader and have had recent successful experience at Headteacher or Deputy Head level.

- be a good relationship builder with the ability to connect with parents, staff, pupils and the wider community
- be able to lead, develop and inspire a high achieving team promoting teamwork and leadership at all levels
- have a proven record of successfully implementing initiatives to raise standards
- have a passionate commitment to inclusive education
- have the ability to establish a supportive and caring environment in which staff and pupils can flourish
