Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Waterton Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our welcoming and supportive team at Kings Oak Primary Academy.

At Kings Oak, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential, regardless of their background or starting point. We are committed to providing an ambitious, inclusive and rewarding education where children are supported and challenged to grow academically, socially and emotionally within a calm, welcoming and nurturing environment.

As HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, working closely with teachers and colleagues to create engaging, inclusive and stimulating learning experiences. You will have the confidence and skills to lead learning activities, deliver planned lessons and provide targeted support to individuals and groups, helping every child to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

You will join a friendly, committed and supportive staff team who share a determination to provide the very best experiences for our children. As part of Waterton Academy Trust, you will also benefit from opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across our family of schools, alongside access to high-quality professional development and opportunities for career progression.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled practitioner who is passionate about making a positive difference in the classroom and beyond. Above all, we are looking for someone who shares our belief in the potential of every child, demonstrates high expectations and brings the enthusiasm, creativity and commitment needed to help our pupils flourish.

We strongly encourage prospective candidates to visit Kings Oak Primary Academy, meet our wonderful children and staff, and experience our school community for themselves.

To arrange a visit, please contact the school on 01226 272740.

We look forward to welcoming you and receiving your application.
