  • Salary: Scale F £24,887 - £26,564 p/a 
  • Fixed Term – 1 year contract 
  • Part time 
  • 36.5 hours per week  
  • Term Time + 1 week 
  • Starting date: 1 September 2026 


Join our vibrant junior school as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant and help every child thrive. We are seeking a skilled, compassionate practitioner who can support high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum, adapting approaches to meet a wide range of abilities and needs. You will plan and deliver targeted interventions, use assessment to inform next steps, and work closely with teachers to secure strong progress and positive outcomes for all pupils—regardless of their starting points. If you are committed to inclusion, confident in leading small groups and whole-class learning when required, and eager to make a measurable difference, we would love to hear from you.  


Working pattern: 

  • Mon-Thurs 8.30am-4.30pm 
  • Fri 8.30am-3.30pm 


We are looking for: 

  • A motivated, energetic team player with excellent communication skills 
  • experience and knowledge of how children learn 
  • be reliable and proactive in planning ahead and problem solving 
  • the ability to use their own initiative to support the individual needs of children 
  • the ability to develop positive and supportive relationships with children and colleagues 
  • an ability to be adaptable and flexible with a calm approach 
  • confident in delivering interventions to small groups and adapting these with confidence.
