Higher Learning Teaching Assistant of Inclusion/SEND
Full time, term-time only (38 weeks)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the identification, assessment and monitoring of pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
- Deliver, coordinate and evaluate targeted intervention programmes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to implement effective strategies and provision that meet individual pupil needs across the curriculum.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of One Plans, SEND Support Plans and EHCP provision.
- Liaise effectively with parents/carers, staff and external professionals to promote positive outcomes for pupils.
- Supervise and manage the SEND Hub, maintaining a purposeful learning environment and accurate, confidential SEND records.
- Attend SEND team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development and effectiveness of SEND provision across the school.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has a strong successful background in working with pupils with SEND.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has strong organisational skills and can maintain accurate records.
- Is able to work independently and use initiative while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Has experience of planning and delivering targeted interventions.
- Is committed to promoting inclusion, independence and high aspirations for all learners.
- Shares the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Is passionate about ensuring the highest quality of education for all children
