KS3 Inclusion Lead

Job description

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the KS3 Inclusion Team: Manage a dedicated Inclusion Assistant to focus on learner provision and outcomes.
  • Champion EHCPs: Lead the Annual Review process for all pupils within your Key Stage and monitor progress toward individual interim targets.
  • Collaborate and Mentor: Act as a role model for outstanding practice, helping other teachers and staff adapt their delivery to meet diverse needs.
  • Identify and Solve: Work with internal and external professionals to identify unmet needs and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Support School-Wide Practice: Liaise with Curriculum Leads, DSLs, and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure inclusive approaches are embedded throughout the entire school.

You will be:

  • A professional with a strong understanding of SEN and inclusive practices.
  • An expert communicator who can partner with parents, carers, and external agencies.
  • A data-informed leader who can monitor achievement targets and evaluate the impact of teaching on student progress.
  • A proactive team player dedicated to maintaining the school’s nurturing ethos and identity.
