L2 Teaching Assistant

Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term to July 2027)

Salary: NJC SCP 5-6 £25,583-£25,989 FTE (Actual Salary 17.5hpw £10,743-£10,914

Hours: 17 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 days)

Accountable to: Headteacher & SLT

Location: Cronton CE Primary School

Main Purpose

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND, as well as to work with groups of children under the direction of teaching or senior staff. The role includes supporting pupils with specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all, and assisting with classroom management and behaviour strategies.
