Job description
Waterfield Primary School, part of The Collegiate Trust, is looking for a Learning Coach SEND Support to help children with SEND and additional needs feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
In this term-time-only role (32.5 hours per week, 8:30 to 15:30), you’ll work closely with the KS1 team, the SEND team and outside agencies. Day to day, that means delivering small group teaching, scaffolding and adapting tasks for individual pupils, supporting wellbeing, behaviour and personal care needs, working with families and carers, and helping supervise lunch and break times.
You’ll need experience of working with young children and those with additional needs, a good understanding of how children learn, and GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. Patience, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and strong teamwork are essential. A Level 3 childcare qualification and a First Aid certificate are desirable.
If you would like further information, please see the applicant information pack attached.
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
