Salary: G3 Pt 4-6 £25,185-£25,989 (Pro-rata) Contract Details: Mon-Friday 8.40am-3.15pm 39 weeks a year Job Type: KS2 - Teaching Assistant - fixed term initially linked to SEND Higher Needs Funding. Closing date: 12 noon on Monday 13th July 2026 Interview date: Wednesday 15th July 2026

The Beeches Community Primary School is a friendly and happy school. We are part of a thriving multi-academy trust, ASSET Education. We are looking for an experienced and talented Teaching Assistant, who has experience in Key Stage 2 (ages 8-11). This a varied role which includes delivering personalised Special Educational Needs support to individuals and small groups of children as well as providing high quality classroom support. This position is a fixed term until 31/08/2027 initially, based on Higher Needs Funding received to support children with SEND needs in Years 4 & 5.

The person that we are looking for needs to:

  • Work with dynamic, forward thinking staff with high aspirations for our children.

  • Be a teaching assistant who exemplifies outstanding classroom practice, behaviour, management and high expectations.

  • Be committed to life-long learning and open to excellent CPD opportunities.

  • Have good levels of English and Maths competence - GCSE C or equivalent and a Level 3 Early Years qualification would be preferable.
