Learning Support Assistant

Higham-on-the-Hill Church of England Primary School · Nuneaton · Leicestershire

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team at Higham on the Hill Church of England Primary School.

Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, we are a small rural village primary school where every child is known, valued and encouraged to thrive. Our warm, nurturing and family-orientated environment allows children and staff alike to flourish, and we are proud of the supportive relationships at the heart of our school community.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support the learning, development and wellbeing of our pupils. This role will involve working with individuals, small groups and whole classes, including supporting children with SEND and those with EHCPs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential, who can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families, and who is willing to contribute fully to school life.

At Higham on the Hill, learning extends far beyond the classroom. With extensive grounds, a strong focus on outdoor learning, educational visits, enrichment opportunities and close community links, this role offers the opportunity to support children in a wide range of exciting and rewarding experiences.

If you are a dedicated team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and wellbeing, we would love to hear from you.

We warmly welcome visits to our school and would be delighted to show prospective candidates what makes Higham on the Hill such a special place to learn, grow and work.
