Salary: Grade 5 Pay Point 7-8 (£25,191 - £25,590 per annum, approximate starting salary of £11,650.06 based on working 20 hours per week)
Hours: 20 - 32.5 hours per week. - Part-time and full-time options available.
Contract Type: Fixed term until August 2027

Leighfield Primary School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to work alongside our dedicated teaching team. • Support teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist individuals and small groups with learning activities.

• Prepare and use learning materials, including ICT resources.

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) OR ability to meet STL Level 2 National Occupational Standards.
• Experience: Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in a school setting.
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Understanding of child protection and health & safety procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students.
