Dunton Bassett Primary School, part of Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust (IPAT), are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard working team in our school with the ability to effectively work across both Key stages and experience of working to support SEND pupils.

Dunton Bassett Primary School caters for children from 4 to 11 years of age.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to join our highly committed team and willing to work across the schools in either Key Stages. The successful applicant will be:

    • Ability so effectively work across both Key Stages and experience of working to support SEND pupils.
    • Experienced in a similar role
    • Highly organised and able to set clear priorities in managing their workload
    • Able to communicate clearly and positively with staff, parents and pupils, both in person and in written communications
    • Able to work calmly under pressure
    • Able to show a 'can-do' attitude and seek solutions to problems
    • Able to work flexibly and creatively
    • Happy, co-operative and able to work on own initiative
    • A strong team player
    • A person who demonstrates excellent initiative

    This post will be for 30 hours per week

    This is a permanent contract to be worked over 39 weeks per year ( 38 weeks term time + 30 hours for training and inset days)
