Grade:              NJC 03 – NJC 04 (£25,614 - £26,016 per annum pro rata)

Hours:               30 hours per week, TTO

Start Date:       12th October 2026

Closing Date:  16th September 2026 – 12pm

Interview Date: 21st September 2026

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals and small groups to help pupils thrive. 

Key Duties: 

1. Supporting pupils’ learning, interaction and independence
2. Assisting teachers with classroom organisation and activities
3. Supporting literacy, numeracy and ICT tasks
4. Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion

We are looking for someone who is:

1. Caring and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting children
2. Reliable and organised, with good communication skills
3. Able to work effectively as part of a team
4. Willing to learn and develop professionally
5. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A relevant Level 1 qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
