Job description

Hall Green Infant School is looking for a permanent and a temporary Level 3 Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026.

Applicants should be experienced Teaching Assistants, who are committed, hardworking and enthusiastic, and flexible in their ability to support learning.

We can offer applicants a happy and welcoming school, friendly staff, a supportive leadership team and the opportunity to undergo professional development.

It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of:

  • supporting children to achieve their best across the curriculum
  • experience of working with infant aged children
  • engagement with young people to motivate them to learn
  • working with children with SEND
  • working on 1:1 or small group SEND interventions
  • planning as part of a teaching team


We are looking for someone who:

  • has an approved level 3 qualification
  • has a good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • has a nurturing, enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • has the ability to support learning through play and structured activities
  • is committed to Early Years/KS1 development
  • is passionate about supporting children
