Thank you for taking an interest in this role of Maths Teacher at Werneth School.

Our focus this year on Maths and English outcomes through the RAG process has brought about a significant shift in GCSE outcomes at grades 4+ and 5+ in Maths and English.

We are delighted that our most recent Ofsted visit in this academic year recognised the huge advancements the school has made. Our children are happy here, our staff are proud to work here and our parents would recommend the school.

We are seeking an exceptional and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our ambitious and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who believes that every student can succeed in mathematics and is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge, inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.

The successful candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, high expectations for achievement and behaviour, and the ability to foster confidence and resilience in students. They will be dedicated to creating a positive learning environment where students develop not only mathematical skills but also curiosity, critical thinking and a lifelong appreciation of the subject.
