Midday Supervisor - starting ASAP
Term Time - 8.75 hours per week
(Currently 11:50am to 1:35pm)
Thank you for your interest in joining our team as a Midday Supervisor.
Someries Junior School is a welcoming community which pupils and staff enjoy being part of. We aspire for all of our children to succeed and we have high expectations for everyone. We are seeking an enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to ensure that children have a safe and enjoyable lunch break. Applicants will be required to undertake training to become a first aider.
The role involves supervising children in the dining room and, afterwards, on the playground or field. Applicants need to be a good listener, have a good manner with children and promote our values by their own conduct.
You will need to be confident, able to act on your initiative, patient and enjoy working with children. Safeguarding training and induction will be provided before employment commences.
You will need to be able to talk, and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken English.
Our School
We are situated in the Wigmore/Stopsley area of Luton and cater for local children aged 7 to 11.
We are a small two-form entry junior school with large playing fields for our children to enjoy.

Hours of work are: Monday to Friday, 11:50am - 1:35pm - during school term time only.
The pay rate is £13.28 per hour and the actual annual (pro rata) salary for 8.75 hours, based on 39 weeks a year is approximately £4950 (with pay award pending).
Closing date: Monday 14 September 4pm.
