Minibus Driver - Ad Hoc Basis
Tibshelf Community School is a thriving, oversubscribed 11-16 school with 833 students, located near Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District, with excellent transport links via the M1.
We are seeking a reliable Minibus Driver to support student transport for extra-curricular activities. This is an ad hoc role with weekly scheduling, and some trips may occur outside normal school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport students and equipment, following all traffic laws
Complete pre- and post-drive vehicle checks
Report any issues or incidents to the Admin Manager
Log mileage and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Wear appropriate, professional attire
Follow health and safety guidelines
You will work alongside a second staff member during student transport. Flexibility is essential.
Requirements:
Full, clean UK driving licence with category D1 entitlement
Willingness to complete safeguarding and driving proficiency training
Benefits
£13.05 per hour, pay award pending. Zero hours contract. Hours will be agreed in advance whenever possible
