Minibus Driver - Ad Hoc Basis

Tibshelf Community School is a thriving, oversubscribed 11-16 school with 833 students, located near Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District, with excellent transport links via the M1.

We are seeking a reliable Minibus Driver to support student transport for extra-curricular activities. This is an ad hoc role with weekly scheduling, and some trips may occur outside normal school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students and equipment, following all traffic laws

• Complete pre- and post-drive vehicle checks

• Report any issues or incidents to the Admin Manager

• Log mileage and maintain vehicle cleanliness

• Wear appropriate, professional attire

• Follow health and safety guidelines

You will work alongside a second staff member during student transport. Flexibility is essential.

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving licence with category D1 entitlement

• Willingness to complete safeguarding and driving proficiency training
