Nursery Nurse - Level 3 Qualified

Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking to recruit an experienced, aspirational and energetic level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their support team in Early Years. This position is term time only, working 39 weeks per year and 19.5 hours per week. The working hours are Monday - Wedensday 8:30am - 3:30pm. Please note that this post is suitable only for those applicants who hold a Level 3 suitable qualification, e.g. Level 3 Early Years Educator, BTEC or a diploma in Early Childcare and Education. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide high-quality care, ensuring children are safe, happy, and supported.
  • Attend to personal care needs including:
    • Toileting and hygiene
    • Dressing/undressing
    • Supporting independence
    • Support children at mealtimes, promoting healthy eating and social development.
    • Respond to illness, injury, and first aid needs appropriately
    • Ensure safe collection and handover of children
