Job Title: Office Manager

Hours: 19 hours per week term time (38 weeks) plus 2 PD Days and one additional week (39.4 weeks a year). Hours to be worked over 3 days, 8:00 - 12:00 Monday, 8:00 - 16:00 Wednesday/Friday.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Grade 5 (range £32,597-£36,363 pro rata) pay award pending.

Actual salary for this position would be £14,481 - £16,154

St Felix Catholic Primary is a very popular school in Haverhill and is part of the Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, efficient and pro-active candidate to manage our busy and supportive office.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the office, premises, HR admin and health and safety, as well as completing administrative duties to support the leadership team. Part of your role will also include clerking governor meetings held in the evenings twice a term.

The post holder will have experience of working in an office, ideally in a school, plus experience of managing a busy team. They will have excellent communication and IT skills. The ability to multi-task and to build positive relationships with all parents, children and staff is essential. Experience in safeguarding is desirable.
