Part Time Teaching Assistant (Secondary Phase)

Temple Learning Academy · Leeds · Leeds

Job description

Fixed term to 31st August 2027 due to funding. Term-time only plus 2 training days.

Part time, 18.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday (hours to be agreed with candidate).

Make a difference every day by supporting young people to build confidence, overcome challenges and achieve their potential.

We are looking for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive secondary school community.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping young people learn, grow and achieve their potential. Working closely with teachers and other colleagues, you will support pupils across a range of subjects, helping to create positive learning experiences and enabling all pupils to participate fully in school life.

Every day brings something different. Whether you are helping pupils build confidence in the classroom, supporting them to overcome barriers to learning, or celebrating their achievements, you will make a meaningful difference to their educational journey and wellbeing.

We are seeking someone who is committed to supporting young people, values positive relationships and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team. In return, you will join a welcoming school community where your contribution is valued and where you will have the opportunity to help shape positive outcomes for pupils every day.

If you are passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a team dedicated to helping every pupil thrive, we would welcome your application.
