Job description
We are seeking to add an additional Pastoral Manager to our Key Stage 4 team, following the promotion of the current postholder to a more senior role within our Trust. As a Pastoral Manager, you will work with students in Years 10 and 11 as part of a team of four people, solely focused on achieving the best pastoral care possible as they enter their exam years. This is a rewarding post in which you will play a full part in achieving what we describe at Aldersley as making success inevitable.
Working as part of a wider pastoral team, you will be responsible for ensuring that day-to-day conduct is positive in Key Stage 4, and that timely pastoral support is given whenever relevant and needed. You will have a specific caseload of students to monitor and track, leading interventions and liaising with families to ensure that students are given every chance to be as successful as possible. No two days are the same, and to key to everything is the building of strong relationships with our young people to build their sense of belonging, connection and ambition.
