Poplar Farm is a vibrant school which opened in September 2018. We are a warm, caring and inclusive school where pupils are at the heart of every decision we make. We have a generous school site, with creative, bespoke learning areas both inside and outside.
The school is part of CIT (Community Inclusive Trust), a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
We are looking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic Pastoral Teaching Assistant to support pupil learning and development.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing nurture individual or group support for children
- Motivating and encouraging pupils
- Supporting children with social, emotional and friendship issues
- Providing support across a range of child centred activities to promote child development and learning
