Reception Class Teacher

St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, a member of the Pope Francis Multi Academy Company (PFMAC) is a fully inclusive school located in the parishes of Sacred Heart and Blessed Dominic Barberi, Oxford. We are based between Blackbird Leys and Littlemore and are a short cycle ride into the city centre.

The school caters for 240 children from 3 to 11 years old, with an onsite nursery in one form entry classes. We are hoping to open a 2-year old provision in January 2027.

From September 2026, we would like to appoint an experienced and highly accomplished EYFS Teacher, someone who has already proven, through sustained results, that they know exactly how to give young children the very best start in their educational life.

We are looking for a confident, expert practitioner with a clear and demonstrable track record of delivering outcomes in early literacy, phonics, writing and mathematics. We want someone who can walk into our vibrant, oversubscribed setting and make an immediate and lasting impact.

You will share our unshakeable belief that the EYFS is where the foundations of a child’s entire educational journey are built. We want someone who holds high expectations not as an aspiration, but as a professional conviction.
