School Effectiveness Partner (Secondary)
Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust · Oxford · Oxfordshire
Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to make a decisive difference in
our Trust. Working closely with the headteacher, senior leaders, trust leaders and
governors, you will lead the challenge and support needed to secure rapid, lasting
improvement for every pupil.
The role would suit someone with detailed, up-to-date knowledge of secondary education
and a proven track record of turning schools around - whether as a headteacher,
executive leader or system leader such as a School Improvement Partner, Education
Director or HMI. Ideally, you will have led improvement in schools, including those serving
disadvantaged communities.
As School Effectiveness Partner, you will diagnose what is holding the school back, shape a
sharp improvement plan with leaders, and hold them to account for delivering it. You will
strengthen teaching, curriculum, behaviour and attendance, build leadership capacity so
improvement is owned within the school, and prepare the school highly effectively for its
next inspection. You will report regularly to the Trust on progress and risks.
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
