Job description
Alde Valley Academy are seeking a committed, friendly and reliable Science Technician on a part time (0.4FTE) basis, working 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Working pattern and days of work will be agreed upon appointment.

As our Science Technician, you will play an important role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the science curriculum. Working closely with teaching staff, you will prepare materials, equipment and resources for practical lessons, maintain safe and organised learning environments, and contribute to engaging classroom experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. Previous experience in a technician role is welcomed but not essential as training and support will be provided.
