Job description
The Abbey School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Science Technician to join the Science Department, to start from September 2026.
We are seeking a reliable and organised Science Technician to support the delivery of practical science lessons. The role involves preparing equipment, maintaining laboratory resources, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for students.
This is a part time, term time only, permanent role, paid on the Kent Scheme Range grade KSB (FTE £26,822 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £20,009 per annum).
The working pattern will consist of 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
