SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our caring, friendly and hard-working team. As well as having a strong understanding of building strong relationships with adults and children, we are also looking for someone who can use their initiative. The post involves working with children to support one to one and lead small group interventions. The role is from Monday to Friday 8:45 am to 3:20 pm term time only.

The successful candidate will need to:

• hold a relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 or above

• Have some experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs

• Have a caring nature

• Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults

• Be able to work as part of a team
