SENCO Support / Higher Level Learning Support Assistant
Required for September 2026
Term Time plus 5 days
32.5 hours per week - 8.30 am to 3.30 pm
Grade 7 Point 12
Actual Salary: £21,511+ £2,500 SENCO Support allowance
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team, working under the direction of the SENCO to identify and assess students with SEND, monitor the effectiveness of intervention by outcome, and enable access to learning for all students.
The role involves effectively deploying staff and resources, including arranging cover for LSAs; adapting and delivering learning activities to individual students or small groups; troubleshooting; liaising with parents and external stakeholders, teaching of lessons and offering withdrawal lessons, and assisting the SENCo with carrying out annual reviews. Part of this role will be to provide personal care for physically disabled students.
The successful candidate will have experience of working and supporting children within an educational environment, have a commitment to collaborative working, consistent and effective communication skills and an innovative approach to education.
