Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEND Administrator at Oastlers School.

The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCo, senior leaders and external agencies to ensure accurate record-keeping, timely communication, and smooth coordination of support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This includes managing Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes, supporting Annual Reviews, and maintaining compliance with statutory SEND requirements.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the SENCO and wider leadership team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND records, including EHCPs, reviews, provision maps and intervention tracking
  • Support behaviour management and promoting positive relationship
  • Undertake general administrative duties and routine clerical support such as filing, scanning, emailing, ensuring supplies of internal forms are kept well stocked etc.
  • Have an understanding of SEND processes, including EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice
  • Demonstrate a commitment to supporting vulnerable children and the ethos of an SEMH setting
