  • Is experienced in leading and developing inclusive practice across a school.

  • Has experience of coordinating annual reviews and managing EHCP processes.
  • Has experience writing responses to EHCP consultations and liaising effectively with Local Authority SEND teams and external agencies.
  • Has a secure understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding requirements and current SEND legislation having a SENDCo qualification.
  • Can confidently analyse data, monitor provision and evaluate impact.
  • Is able to coach, support and inspire colleagues through professional development and modelling excellent practice.
  • Builds positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families, staff and external professionals.
  • Brings energy, creativity, resilience and a genuine passion for inclusion.
  • Understands the importance of wellbeing for both pupils and staff.
  • Is creative, flexible and can work to deadlines.
