- Has experience of coordinating annual reviews and managing EHCP processes.
- Has experience writing responses to EHCP consultations and liaising effectively with Local Authority SEND teams and external agencies.
- Has a secure understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding requirements and current SEND legislation having a SENDCo qualification.
- Can confidently analyse data, monitor provision and evaluate impact.
- Is able to coach, support and inspire colleagues through professional development and modelling excellent practice.
- Builds positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families, staff and external professionals.
- Brings energy, creativity, resilience and a genuine passion for inclusion.
- Understands the importance of wellbeing for both pupils and staff.
- Is creative, flexible and can work to deadlines.
