We are seeking a Senior Assistant Teacher—a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential. This role plays a vital part in the daily life of our classrooms, ensuring continuity of learning, promoting inclusion and supporting staff and students across the school.
What You Will Do
Supervise and lead whole classes during short‑term teacher absences
Support small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs
Deliver engaging lessons within a pre‑prepared framework
Collaborate with teachers on planning, preparation and resource development
Promote positive behaviour, independence and inclusion in line with school policies
Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support progress
Mentor, guide and support Assistant Teachers, contributing to their professional growth
