Senior IT Technician
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Term time plus 4 weeks or full time 52 Weeks per year
About the role:
As our Senior IT Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the school's ICT systems are safe, secure, reliable and fit for purpose. You will support the delivery of effective IT services across the school, helping to minimise disruption to learning and ensuring that staff and students can make full and efficient use of technology every day.
You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the school's ICT infrastructure, systems and devices, responding to technical issues, managing user accounts and access, assisting with the storage and reporting of data, and supporting compliance with relevant policies and data protection requirements. You will also provide guidance and support to colleagues within the IT team and contribute to the ongoing development of the school's technology provision.
All duties within this role require the highest standards of professionalism in manner, conduct and appearance, together with a high level of literacy and communication skills. As a Senior IT Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining the school's technology environment, ensuring that both educational and administrative functions can operate effectively and efficiently.
