Salary: Scale 3 Pt 5
£25,583 FTE, Actual £6,600
We are seeking a committed, organised and enthusiastic Senior Midday Supervisor to lead and support our lunchtime team at our Hardwick Campus. This is a key role within the school, ensuring that all pupils experience a safe, positive and well-structured lunchtime.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for coordinating and supervising the Midday Supervisor team, organising rotas, and maintaining high standards of behaviour, safety and care across the school during lunchtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, organise and support the Midday Supervisor team during the lunch period
- Create and manage staff rotas, adapting these as required
- Ensure a safe, positive and inclusive environment for pupils in all areas of the school
- Promote positive behaviour and support pupils in managing their emotions
- Deal with minor behavioural issues and accidents, referring serious concerns appropriately
- Support the recruitment, induction and training of Midday Supervisors
- Oversee the smooth running of lunchtime routines, including dining and play
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety procedures, and school policies are upheld at all times
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
- Has strong organisational and leadership skills
- Can communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents
- Is calm, patient and able to manage a range of situations confidently
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils
- Can lead by example and uphold the school’s values and expectations
