Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours, 39 weeks (term time plus one week)
Working pattern: 8am - 4pm, Mon to Thurs, 8am - 3.30pm on Fridays
Salary: Pathway 4, £25,296 - £27,006 per annum (FTE £29,540 - £31,537)

Your role:
As our Senior Technician for DT, Art and Food, you will lead a team of technicians and ensure our workshops, studios and food rooms are safe, organised and fully equipped for outstanding learning. Working closely with subject leaders, you will oversee health and safety, manage stock and resources, coordinate workloads and make sure every lesson is prepared for success.
You will bring a practical background, experience working with materials and equipment, strong organisational skills and a thorough understanding of health and safety. Confident, proactive and solutions-focused, you will be able to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively and build positive relationships with staff and students. Experience of stock control, resource management and ICT systems will be essential.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will make a tangible difference every day, supporting exciting DT projects, creative art experiences and engaging food education while helping to inspire the next generation of designers, artists and chefs.
