Job description
Reports to: Senior Leader (Finance Director)
Accountable to: Headteacher and Governing Body for the efficient and effective management of the site and related functions.
You will:
Have overall responsibility for the whole school site and resources to provide a safe, efficient and effective learning and working environment for pupils and staff
Manage, develop and support the caretaking team and the school to ensure high standards and contribute to the aims of the school toi standards set by our Governors
Specific responsibilities associated with the role include:
Acting as the main health and safety officer for the school
Line managing the caretaking, cleaning and lettings teams
Ensuring the security of the site and buildings
Ensuring compliance at all tmes and managing key external contractors
Acting as budget holder for areas of delegate responsibility, such as repairs and maintenance, health and safety and furniture and fittings
Preparing and submitting H&S reports and the annual asset management plan
