Thank you for considering St. Mary's Catholic Academy for the next stage in your career. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Site Supervisor to support our site team at St Mary’s. The role is offered on a permanent basis, all year round, to commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school site, ensuring that buildings and grounds are well maintained and compliant with health and safety requirements.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has practical maintenance and DIY skills.
- Possesses a good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Is able to work independently and use their initiative.
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Is flexible, dependable and committed to high standards.
- Enjoys working in a school environment and contributing to the wider school community.

Medical clearance
Verification of qualifications and National Insurance number.
Two references including a judgement about suitability to work with children.
A member of the interview panel will be trained in implementing Child Protection procedures.

For teaching positions, barred list checks and prohibition from teaching checks will be carried out.
For leadership positions, section 128 checks will be performed.
