Specialist Autism Advisor for Specialist Autism Support Service (SASS)
39 weeks, plus 20 additional days in the school holidays
37 hours a week
Fixed Term for 3 years - Linked to Specialist Autism Support Service contract (potential to extend)
Start date: 3rd September 2026
The successful candidate will be providing support and advice to autistic young people between the ages of 0-25, including their families and professionals supporting them. There will be a focus on providing support and advice to other education settings, alongside delivering a variety of training events for parents and professionals around B&NES.
We are looking for a candidate who feels passionate about inclusion for autistic young people, who can demonstrate a commitment to supporting young people to access education and an understanding of the importance of autism-friendly and accessible learning environments.
