A unique opportunity to make a difference
At Western House Academy, we believe that every opportunity shapes a life. We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual to join our team as a Learning Mentor and Sports Coach. This exciting dual role combines classroom support, pastoral intervention and sports coaching. The successful candidate will work closely with vulnerable pupils, supporting their academic, social and emotional development whilst also leading high-quality sports provision across the school.
Part of the week will be spent supporting pupils in classrooms, delivering targeted interventions and mentoring children who require additional support. The remainder of the role will involve delivering sports coaching, supporting physical development, leading extra-curricular opportunities and providing cover for the PE Lead when required.
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
