Contract: 27 hours per week (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

Bracken Hill School is an all-age Special School for children aged 4 to 18 years, who have a range of complex educational needs with associated social and emotional difficulties, and challenging behaviour.

• We are looking to appoint two Teachers who are passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with SEND.   We are looking for teachers who will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences for pupils with a range of complex needs. The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and purposeful learning that support pupils to develop communication, independence and confidence
  • Plan and adapt learning carefully so that activities help pupils secure the intended knowledge and skills
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and strengthen our curriculum across all pathways
  • Use assessment effectively to understand pupil progress and inform future learning
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and work closely with families and other professionals.
