About the Role
You will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across agriculture programmes.
- Develop engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement.
- Lead and coordinate allocated courses, including quality assurance and assessment activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development aligned to current and future agricultural industry needs.
- Build strong relationships with employers, schools, parents and industry partners.
- Support student recruitment through interviews, events and information, advice and guidance activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching, learning and student outcomes.
About You
You will have:
- A degree or recognised industry qualification in Agriculture or a related subject.
- A recognised post-16 teaching qualification.
- Significant industry experience, particularly within livestock production.
- Experience of teaching and assessing learners in a formal educational setting.
- Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.
- A passion for agriculture and a commitment to developing future industry professionals.
- NPTC qualifications in machinery operations (ATV, Telehandler or Tractor Operations) are highly desirable.
