Shenley Brook End School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Social Science, with the ability to teach Sociology and/or Psychology across GCSE and A-level.

We are looking for a passionate educator who has a genuine drive to deliver engaging, innovative and high-quality lessons that inspire students and promote a deep understanding of social science. The successful candidate will be eager to contribute to the ongoing development of the subject and will have the ambition and capacity to lead Social Science within our school community.

You will be joining a supportive, successful and oversubscribed department, where collaboration, high standards and student achievement are at the heart of our practice.

Have a passion for teaching

Have experience of teaching across Key Stage 4 and 5, including exam groups

Have a high regard for their learning environment and resources

Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who will ensure good progress for all students

Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students

Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning
