Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for languages and achieve strong outcomes
  • Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and provide targeted support
  • Contribute to the development of a broad and ambitious MFL curriculum
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement
  • Participate fully in departmental and whole-school initiatives, including enrichment opportunities
  • Support the wider ethos of the school, including pastoral responsibilities as a form tutor
What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with the ability to teach Spanish to KS3 and 4
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress
  • The ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A team player who is eager to contribute to a collaborative department
