Job description
- Have a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or the equivalent experience
- have high expectations of pupils' achievement and behaviour
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles, make learning fun and exciting
- Provide individual and small group support to students, focusing on their individual learning goals.
- Implement individual education plans and behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor and track student progress
- have strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills
- have a good standard of English and numeracy, GCSE grade A to C or equivalent in both subject areas
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- value learning outside the classroom
- play a role in the wider life of the school
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
