Are you passionate about helping children learn, grow and achieve their very best? We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team at Gateway Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference to their learning and development. The successful candidate will work with individual pupils, small groups and whole classes throughout the day, supporting learning in maths, reading, writing and across the wider curriculum.
We are looking for someone who brings energy, positivity and a genuine passion for helping children succeed. You will be a valued member of our team, helping to create engaging learning experiences, build children's confidence and ensure every pupil feels supported, included and ready to learn.
The ideal candidate will be:
A hardworking, resilient and positive individual who is willing to reflect, learn and develop their practice.
A committed team player who shares our ambition to provide the very best education and care for all our pupils.
An effective communicator, with strong written and interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
Experienced in working with children in a primary school or another relevant setting, with the ability to engage, enthuse and inspire young learners.
Flexible, creative and enthusiastic, with a willingness to support learning across different year groups and areas of the curriculum.
Committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare, with a caring, patient and nurturing approach.
What we can offer:
A friendly, supportive team of committed colleagues who work together to achieve the very best for our children.
Polite, engaged pupils who are keen to learn and enjoy new challenges.
Opportunities for continued professional development and to build your skills and experience.
A varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same!
The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children's confidence, progress and enjoyment of learning.
At Gateway Primary School, we are proud of our welcoming school community and our commitment to inspiring curious learners. We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for helping children flourish and would love to be part of our team.
Enhanced DBS checks and references will be required in line with our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
