We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming special school in North West London.

This Teaching Assistant role is available across all three of our sites.

Manor School provides an Ofsted-judged ‘Outstanding’ specialist learning environment for pupils with a wide range of special needs. We have a clear and strong vision of ‘love, learn, laugh’ which we achieve through creating a positive, engaging setting where all pupils can reach their full potential.

The school is split across three sites in Brent: Manor School, Chamberlayne Road in Kensal Rise, the Manor School Early Years Centre (MSEYC) is on Bridge Road in Neasden. And our third Site is at Canterbury Road, Kilburn. We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant at the Kensal Rise site at this time but would like to share that in the future as a three site school staff may be asked to work at any of the three sites.

The successful applicant will be working in a provision supporting children with complex communication, behaviour and sensory processing needs. Previous experience of SEND is therefore essential. Experience of a specialist setting is also highly desirable.

Manor School is part of The Rise Partnership Trust and the post holder may be required to work across the Trust as and when necessary.

Candidates with experience or knowledge of autism and/or a range of learning needs and disabilities

We are looking for:

  • Positive, energetic and creative teaching assistants with a love of teaching and learning;
  • Applicants who have experience of supporting children with special needs;
  • People who are able to work in partnership with their class teacher;
  • Teaching assistants who have experience in positively managing behaviour;

Candidates with experience or knowledge of autism and/or a range of learning needs and disabilities.
