Job description

Abbey Road Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated staff team.

This is a full-time (37 hours a week), permanent role, during term time only (plus INSET days) to commence as soon as possible in October 2026.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers, teaching assistants and the school SENDCo to provide dedicated 1:1 support. The role will involve supporting a child's personal care needs as well as helping them develop the skills, confidence and independence needed to thrive within an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a committed and skilled team that is passionate about providing a caring, engaging and successful learning experience for all children.
