We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people, especially those with additional needs, to access learning and achieve success.

The Role

  • Work alongside teachers and support staff to raise the learning and attainment of students.
  • Provide targeted support for students with SEND, reducing barriers to learning.
  • Encourage independence, self-esteem, and inclusion for all students.
  • Lead small group interventions and offer mentoring support.
  • Use your specialist knowledge (e.g. SEND, SEMH, literacy or numeracy) to make a meaningful impact.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
  • Experience of working with children aged 11-16, ideally with SEND or behavioural needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A flexible, resilient and collaborative approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality and high expectations for all students.
