Understands the importance of emotional regulation, routine and consistency in supporting vulnerable pupils.
Is confident supporting individual pupils, small groups and whole-class learning, adapting activities to meet a range of needs.
Is flexible and able to respond positively to changing needs throughout the school day.
Is solution-focused, calm under pressure and able to respond positively to challenges.
Has high expectations for all pupils and a strong commitment to inclusion.
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff, parents and professionals.
